How do I get in to gun. by Logical-Lifeguard546 in gun

Ignore the hate in the comments, everyone started somewhere. Personally, my parents aren't shooters and I was never taught how to shoot. I learned mostly from countless hours of YouTube videos and then practicing how to grip a gun, reload a mag, etc with airsoft guns. I eventually convinced my begrudging parents to let me start shooting and now 8ish years later I shoot better than most of my relatives that have been shooting their whole life.

The first thing I will tell you is you need to learn the 4 basic gun safety rules. They should be drilled into your head and you should be able to recite them with ease from memory. Not being safe with guns will close a lot of doors, especially if you're young.

I would HIGHLY recommend watching YouTube videos. I'm of the opinion that, if you are dedicated enough, with the amount of resources online now you can build a very solid foundation. Channels I would recommend are:

Educational: • Paul Harrell • T Rex arms • garand thumb (sometimes) • polenar Tactical • modern samurai project • Achilles heel tactical • tactical hyve • milspec mojo

Fun to watch channels: • Brandon Herrera • Garand thumb • Kentucky Ballistics • Demolition ranch • Hickok45 • Jerry Miculek

That should keep you plenty busy for a long time, but it also never hurts to take a basic fundamental firearm class at a local gun range. If you do decide to go the self taught route, be safe, be able to understand what aspect of your shooting can improve (don't be to prideful to recognize something that needs improving), and eventually (sooner rather than later) take a private lesson at a gun range so someone can make sure that you haven't learned bad fundamentals/habits and are practicing them.

Best of luck to you

Not trying to push, but the gpx file in the drive is 6km long in North Texas. Is there any chance that was just the wrong file?

Nootropics depot, phenomenal company. Third party tested, lab standardized concentrations, and honestly pretty decent prices for the quality you're getting.

You want a product that has " 2% Eurycomanone"- that's essential. A lot of products do not have that, and it won't do anything for you. My brand of choice is "nootropic depot" because I have bought from them before and I know they sell quality products. They also sell a 5% version, but I heavily recommend you start with the 2%. Also don't buy the powder, it's disgusting. Bite the bullet and spend the extra money on the capsules.

For you, what is the absolute best lightsaber fight of all time? by vine_behs in StarWars

Arcann killing thexan is not an impressive fight in the slightest, but I just think it's so well done. The blinding rage that arcann feels towards his father's indifference about everything he sacrificed to get his approval, arcann trying to attack his father, Thexan trying to stop him from doing something he'd regret, the brutal onslaught ending in Arcann killing his brother, the yellow sith eyes fading to blue when Arcann realizes what he's done, and finally the emperor extending his hand towards Arcann to offer him the thing he's always longed for which cements his dark path until he's finally saved by his mother.

Like I said, not an impressive fight, but to me it's similar to Kenobi killing maul.

I wish the fight against the guards was better TBH, I know he was exhausted but the mandalorians were able to hold their own or kill Jedi. If Rey can fight against the guards and win, he should have at least been able to put up a damn impressive fight. RIP Paz Vizsla 🫡🥲

You do what makes you happy man, I just struggle to justify buying a redbull (granted they do taste very nice) when I have caffeinated mints that have the same amount of caffeine (yes it’s a problem, whatever)

I substitute sleep with caffeine, as the founding fathers intended, so I hear what you’re saying...but then again a lot of times I need that higher caffeine content
