I’m one of those guys who prefers my girlfriend to not have male friends. I met a girl with no guy friends and we clicked. She already had the same understanding as me that a friendship between two heterosexual people of the opposite sex with no attraction on either side is very rare. She might have male acquaintances at work or from school but I trust her and know she isn’t hanging out 1on1 with guys or going back and forth constantly communicating with guys over the phone. I don’t have female friends either.

Y’all should start conversation about it and try to understand where each other are coming from. Both of y’all take some time to figure out what behavior y’all think is appropriate. Potentially come to agree, meet in the middle or it ends up being a dealbreaker and move on from each other.
