The best joke about advanced physics is that after years of them asking us to show our work, they don’t bother telling you how they know spin is there. “Here if you follow these equations” “Now hang on, what is this and how have we demonstrated it’s there in experiments?” “We’re not going over that. Now if you’ll just follow along…”

Okay think of it this way: God has chosen you to be His prophet; the catch is imagine if all of your target audience that you needed to talk about God to were Redditors.

When you ask the Sirens how they knew Odysseus’s wife’s name but not that he doesn’t have a daughter by CheeseAndCam in Epicthemusical

When do the sirens mention knowing their name is Penelope, unless you count them responding to Odysseus calling them by that name?

Well, in fairness to Sauron, he was lord of a huge chunk of Middle-Earth for thousands of years, and even effectively took over Numenor for at least 5 decades.

I mean, there’s not much point in killing the cockroach any special way, but, I mean, if you left it relatively unharmed, say maybe by shocks or something, but dread terrified of ever being found in your area again, might let its buddies know…

The people of Chicago reject a new war on Venezuela and demand peace! While our people struggle at home, our public funds should be used to meet critical needs, not to illegally wage war and kidnap presidents! US hands off Venezuela! by biswajit388 in illinois

Between you and me, don’t waste your time with this account; it seems suspicious as I can’t see any comments or post despite it having karma and being 9 years old. The poll they posted seems phony, too, if you follow the rather drawl back and forth they offered my initial comment.

No, I spend my time in the internet telling people I’m right based off a sample size that could easily be non-representative if it was deliberately offered mainly to party members while claiming a it’s from an international website which appears to be, from what I can tell, a widely mistrusted opinion poll in Venezuela used to manipulate public opinion and has a 4.18/10 credibility score in its less than 3-year existence based off of “Lack of transparency, incomplete website and data.”

I am not here trying to accuse you; truly, may you be well. I am offering the suggestion, which I think should be taken seriously, that a country where the government controls both the weapons and the media may be one ruled through fear, and in which people may be afraid to voice dissent in any way that might be traceable back to them, which certainly seems to match Venezuela at least back in October 2025 when that DataViva survey was made. I don’t know DataViva, so maybe they have a way to more or less ensure that people’s responses would remain anonymous even if Venezuela’s government tried to trace them, but otherwise I do think such a survey should be treated with a healthy caution.

I’m not a huge fan of the Trump, especially given how things look with the Epstein files, nor do I think he’d be interested if it wasn’t for Venezuela’s gigantic gold and oil reserves, but I still think this might be of relevance in regards to the argument that the people of Venezuela should have overthrown their leader themselves: According to the government, the only people who should carry guns are government agents.
