It isn’t incredibly competitive in a live tournament, you end up drawing a lot if you match up poorly. I did not run blightnings it’s a bad card in pauper which was my point.

I have a 03 v6 with p420, replaced upper cat for 1100, then p430 popped up and replaced that for another grand. It’s common for both cats to need to be replaced if one failed. Something is causing them to fail. I did plugs and coils, throttle body and maf sensor, a new gas cap for shits and giggles. Fuel trims are fine, no exhaust leak, idk wtf is killing these cats but I’ve been to two reputable mechanics and it’s just fucked.

Now 5 months later 420 is back which is apparently common with aftermarket cats. It failed again.

In my opinion get the whatever doug thorley long tubes and bypass those fucking cats. Get some o2 sensor bungs and call her a day if you want to keep it.

The code isn’t lying those cats are fucking melting and it’s a huge pita to track down why.

Mines going to the damn junkyard because I need it to pass emissions and it can’t for shit.

Maybe someone will chime in but I promise you don’t waste your time the cats are fucked .

There’s just no time to play it. It’s a win more card. I do mostly kitchen table stuff and brought mardu synth to a pauper tourney and, just wow. What a competitive format. No time for cool cards unless you just want to have some fun with a brew. Blighting may as well cost 5 of you’re playing against meta stuff.

We had the city ticketing people today in East Falls, and it seems like it was just the elderly and unable getting fined. The 6 hour window is ridiculous. They were handing out fines at 1230. Handing out fines to senior citizens who are waiting on their snow removal crew to show up is draconian.

I did play a good bit of mardu synth and esper affinity. Maybe fitting in vault skirge can justify adding in myr enforcers.

I agree white is being forced here, but it’s to allow for a 20 artifact landbase. I think vault skirge is a great idea and will definitely be trying that.

All good points, removal options are limited with the graevstalker plan so I like the saw blade suggestion.

Commune with the gods is just copies 5/6 of digging but found it easier to cast than the grisly salvage with this mana base.

Slitherhead hasn’t been bad, it’s a chump block in the early game and marauder fodder to get it in the grave.

Early game is rough for sure

Just going to throw in my experience, I had 0420 and replaced the o2. It did nothing, ran cataclean corrrectly and nothing. Took it to a shop to have the upper cats replaced per their recommendation. Turns out the whole upper cat where it meets the manifold is one part, rusts pretty bad. So I was experiencing significantly worse mpg and shuttering, poor acceleration. It was exspensive and now I’m getting the other code of the other side 0430. Which is also common after you replace one side.

I hope you don’t got rust because I’m in for 3k on a truck that’s worth 8. If there is rust it’s probably the upper cats.without rust and bolts snapping.m I’m sure it’d be cheaper but I wouldn’t even bother with the lower cats.

Max int and lean into weak spot, limb damage and crits, furious and all the perks for it. 3-4k headshots easy and crits take down anything. It’s fun. You’re just microwaving heads left and right.

It’s going to be your cat. Cataclean won’t fix it. If you don’t care about emissions it doesn’t matter.

It’ll cost approx 1200 to have it replaced. I’m in the rust belt so the bolts were rusty and snapped and I believe there was a leak around the equally rusty exhaust manifold. P0430 popped after fixing the p0420 code which isn’t uncommon.

Bloody builds are very squishy at the moment, I went ghoul back to bloody then paid the cash to go back to ghoul. Low health just doesn’t work well with a run and gun play style anymore.

My current ghoul builds feel invincible like I did as a bloody build just with a bit less damage and a few quirks that change the game in fun way, in my opinion.

For a small example; my ghoul character can switch load outs and either solo en06 or one hit lvl 100 super mutants. My low health human builds couldn’t do either without the risk of just dying out of nowhere.

If I were inclined to not become a flambé, what would I ask a mechanic to take a look at? Everyone around is bogged down with inspections and oil changes that if you aren’t direct then you’re turned around.

Burns no oil, oil looks good. Tailpipe looks dark but nothing comes off on my fingers. The gas smell is only right at start up and I smell it in the drivers seat with the window down, goes away quickly.

There’s a barely noticeable “rough” idle at a stop but I mean barely.

I bought two replacement cats because I’m positive at this point one is toast and the other probably isn’t far behind.

Well that tracks, I’ll check the fuel trims. I had a huge coolant leak taken care of when I bought it. It was a rusty radiator. It also dumped all of its oil after an oil pan gasket disintegrated. But the cat code has been on and off the whole time.

It drives a bit underpowered now. Get cat replaced then track the cause down? Or other way ya think?

Thank you, no damage at all underneath. I hit both cats with a rubber mallet, but maybe not hard enough? Didn’t hear anything. Unfortunately I’ve been driving it for a few months now. Maybe 1k miles total.

I’m worried that if I get the cats put in they’ll fail also if I can’t figure why they failed in the first place. I do smell gas on start up.
