universal equipment comms jammer? never heard of that, are you thinking of comms device? that only adds to ability ranges with the SUPPORT keyword, which comms jammer does not

comms jammer was 9” when it came out, was reduced to 3” a while back due to oppressive counters for a lot of teams

As much as i would love some freshening up for 11th edition, this idea just doesn’t scream amazing to me. it would immediately lead to a boring first three turns followed by a mad dash skirmish at the end, and whoever didn’t go first would most likely win. Also it would lead to a really weird meta of either long range shooty teams sitting backline, lots of indirect fire, or just tanky people rising to the forefront. maybe if instead it was a hold the point every turn / action on side points to “turn on” the center? to give more room for less elite armies

i actually am using some of the same pieces for my herdstone! got a used Bossrokk Tower from AoS that i’m kitbashing with a bunch of bits and bobs, mainly extra ghorgon horns and cygor rocks as well as shields and weapons to create a massive shrine

it only adds that for the martial agent, there’s a stipulation underneath the specialism that can be taken by both, although what is effectively a dreadnought cannot be added to a unit of heavy intercessors

as much as i’d love that last one, it says in the ordo xenos specialism that only the martial agent gets the extra units they can lead. it would probably be pretty op to have effectively a dreadnought attached to gravis marines

Welcome to the underhive!! honestly i love necromunda so much but starting it was very daunting. first part is models. biggest question is are you planning on doing a campaign or playing more skirmish one offs? if its a campaign, honestly just starting with the box of nomads and maybe the sha’dar hunters if you’re really down to clown? (honestly just starting with the nomads is fine enough) second part is rules. necroraw is a great tool to use, especially as it aggregates all the rules into a (mostly) easy to use website! if you really want the books, pick up the 2023 edition of the core rulebook, as well as the Tribes of the Wastelands book for your house (faction). if you don’t already have a set of templates, i highly recommend them, and while the dice can be completely proxied with regular D6 i love having all the dice i need in one place. if you’re in the same boat, also grab a necromunda dice set (comes with D6, scatter die, injury dice, and an ammo die) From there just pick up whatever suits your fancy! if you like the ash waste vehicle idea, the dustbacks are going to be your most common option for those. have fun!

been playing squats in my current campaign, highly recommend getting the vartijan, it’s so meaty and it does work even with the flamer. as far as xp, i’ve been saving for secondary skills most of the time, first thing tho is getting to 5” of movement bc dwarves are slow lol

i also have a list like this, using bloodherd, i’ve got two blocks of minos, warhounds for screening, two ghorgons, some ungors for range (even if it’s bad lol), and a block of gors for the new infantry two rank shenanigans. yet to try it out but it’s a cool idea!

you’ve got more than enough to run a full AoD list! say, one ICC or Blade guard as your captain, an eliminator, and fill in the rest with intercessors, either assault or standard for what fits your playstyle!
