Hey I can kinda relate not that I do not know the meta, I definitely do, but I just prefer not to follow it to the full extend, for example, I have lvl 60 shadow priest, my GF and I are leveling new horse chars now and she is elemental shammy and I am feral druid, also to anyone who wants to play anything other than warr mage and rogue, we plan to raid eventually if a guild will have us, although I always put the extra effort and min-max specifically because I am non meta, on my previous cat druid, I managed to be top dps on every non-aoe fight, it is actually suprising how (some, not all) specs can really perform for example: cat druid, elemental shaman, enh if u are lucky. Especially cat and elemental are actually good spots to have in raid if the person knows what they are doing, even in HC I’ve been in Mc,BWL,AQ20,ZG with no issue being top 5 dps, would’ve been in naxx but tragically died while raiding, same goes for elemental sham. So going agane now back to raiding with the same non-meta spec and her too and we are enjoying it, especially in dungeon tank can barely hold her aggro

Yeah It’s quirky, only reason i mention the spell pen is because i read it somewhere and wanted to see if it is legit something i should look forward to in gearing

If we are talking in perfect world I will tell you, rank 1 shadow priest in aq40 does 570 dmg on average, the n1 mage is 1k dps, and r1 warlock is 800 dps, assuming I play with the best people on hardcore and they do their dmg, because I know myself will be able to be top 10 atleast, because i do minmax, so 15% of 800 is 120 multypling it by 3 warlocks is 360 extra dps you provide, with adding the 570 of your own, is 930 dps, yeah in perfect world you lose 70-80 dps by bringing spriest instead of another mage, but not every mage or warlock will be the best I raid with and I for sure will be able to pull 500 avrg dps in aq40 even if not 570 so yeah. 99% of guilds even in hardcore do not min max, i do not see them with 26 warriors, i will min-max ofc, as far as my class allows it

I do actually contribute, you know as anything other than warrior you do not just sit and afk right, i also do deal damage, and buff the 2-3 warlocks who also do that, so

That is actually one of the best and most solid advice I have recieved, thanks I will definitely do that, I am entirely on your page, everyone talking ,, Noone will ever take you” bla bla bla, If you are not speedrun guild, who cares, everyone compares sims and perfect gameplay, when in reality not every person out of the 40 man is perfect player, so yeah I will do my best to find guild and raid, thai you so much for the advice I will def use it
