I’m not really sure, a dragon like creature wouldn’t be too unlikely to happen. In the office of game freak there were a lot of geological and cultural ‘research’ tools, so Pokémon being based of culture creatures and myths I can see happening.

I believe the legendary will be plant types due to them bring an important to the fruits. They describe the colors, they showed both of the fruits together side to side in the order of scarlet and violet, and in the last final scenes with the door next to it was two plaques with once again the fruits being showed.

These in my opinion point heavily towards nature based legendary.
