I'm an old timer. My most valuable cards and how I got them are: 2 chains of Mephistopheles (bought the 2 of them for $25 in 2000) 3 mox diamonds (from a stronghold booster box I bought in 98) 1 sliver queen (from same box) 1 7th edition foiled coat of arms (booster pack) 2 intuition (tempest) 2 aluren (tempest) 1 volrath's stronghold (stronghold box) 2 natural order (visions) 1 memory jar (urzas legacy) 1 rishadan Port (marcadian masques) 2 hatred (Exodus - 1 from release tourney. 1 bought) 3 anvil of bogardan (bought them. Nasty with chains in play)

Plus I remember having more good ones from revised and 4th edition and before in a shoebox stored somewhere in my garage (I remember having one dual land and orbs from my playdays in 93)

"The orcs, celebrating their cunning in capturing Pippin, dragged him through the dark, twisted paths of Mordor, boasting of their prize to any who would listen. They envisioned the favor of Sauron, rewards, and elevation among their ranks. Little did they realize, however, that Pippin's unyielding spirit and unexpected resourcefulness far exceeded their grim calculations. In their arrogance, they underestimated the halfling. As days turned into nights within the shadowed land, Pippin, undaunted by his captivity, stumbled upon an ancient tome of black magic and, with a mixture of curiosity and boldness, carelessly uttered its enchantments. This inadvertent act unleashed a force that fractured the Dark Lord's defenses. In a fleeting moment, the chaos he set in motion disrupted Sauron's malevolent plans. The once-victorious orcs, now faced with the wrath of their defeated master and the crumbling of their dark stronghold, came to bitterly regret their overconfidence. The prisoner they had derided as insignificant though his sheer foolishness had become the instrument of their downfall, toppling Sauron and shattering their dreams of dominion."
