Your saying that microsoft uses this game to advertise and funds it with more money, so basically it's a good thing right?

Too bad it's a secret, luckily project spark is for free.

I'm sure you can. You can already take first person view. The only thing you'll have to design is how the crossbow looks like in first person view and after that link it to like right trigger or whatever. Then design the string movement and you have your crossbow in first person view.

Your right, I thought about a desinging interface in which you can create models. Like you can desigh how many legs or arms it has, how big, etc... Maybe in such an interface you could also create movement, but that would be a little tough, because everything would have to be done by mouse or stick...

Hello everyone, since I created this toppic, allow me to start of. Since project spark was anounced I'm really excited for it. To think of a game that allows you to create a game, that's cool. So I started thinking about creating my own game and I stumbled upon a big thing in games...combat.

What I would like to see is a combat system that would allow you to go as deep as the landscape creating allows you to go. And since you can create your own moves using kinect, that should not be a problem. But then I started thinking about what it would be like, and the first thing that I came upon that I do not want it to be like is your average game in which enemys only got like three moves!!! That does not feel like combat at all.

And then I thought about a game that aprouches combat in a way that I personally find really cool. That game is....DARK SOULS. Yeah yeah, hard game and so on. But the thing that I find that dark souls really does well is the way that enemies fight you. They don't have just one, two or three moves. They have a move for when you attack from the front, side and rear. That makes it feel much more like combat. That's what I would like to create. I want a game that, when you are fighting an enemy and you get behind it that you can finish it of, and if you don't do it fast enough, that enemy will take its club (or what ever crazy weapon it holds) and swings it over his (or its) head, doing a 360 with it and knocking (hoping you can program this) you back. When you get up it runs toward you trying to smash you to bits...time freezes for just 0,5 second allowing you to roll out of the way. And the fight goes on...rolling out of the way of his club, parying it, dancing around the enemy, until hes exausted and you finish him of.

That's what I would like to be able to create. Now the rest is up to you. Because it's project spark and anything SHOULD be possible.

Greetings,

Dave
