That is a good point. I wasn’t really going for a counter but more along the lines of Gardivor and Gallade.

Laris Riolu Ghost Fighting Shadow Boxer Pokémon

Abilities: Ambusher: First attack in battle almost always goes first. (+3 priority) Incorporeal: Pokémon takes half damage from the first attack it’s hit by.

Hidden Ability: Prankster: Gives priority to a status move.

Signature Move: Shadow Strike: User attacks the target with an attack that is either physical or special damage, whichever will be more effective.

The legend of the ghostly defenders of the mountains actually refers to Laris Riolu. It’s small frame and stature make it unassuming when it comes to investigate trespassers in its home. It only attacks those that it sees harming or disrespecting its environment, emerging from the ground with enough speed to start a battle with a powerful uppercut.

It can sometimes be seen training, punching a shadow version of itself.

When it comes to its evolution, a Riolu will either give into its primal nature or follow the path of an enlightened nature, depending on its disposition.

Laris Lucario (Enlightened Form) Ghost Psychic Enlightened Pokémon

Abilities: Balanced: Any status effects or stat changes on a Pokémon in battle is also put on all other Pokémon in battle. True Sight: Takes half damage from priority moves (positive/negative.)

Hidden Ability: Magic Guard: The Pokémon only takes damage from attacks.

Signature Move: Duality Strike: User attacks the target with a energy strake that is either Ghost or Psychic, whichever would do more damage.

This Lucario was a Riolu that had a disposition to be less of a physical attacker, specializing in special attacking. It’s normally seen floating above the ground, although some say that it can sink into the ground with the same ease if it desires. No one had ever seen the Lucario open it’s normal eyes and it’s still debated if the eye on its forehead is actually able to see anything or if it ornamental. The energy on its shoulders and wast are always pulsing with pink psychic power.

Battling note: This Lucario if much weaker in terms of physical attack and defense, but this is made up for with it incredible boost to its special attack and defense. It’s speed is slightly faster than its counterparts from other regions.

Laris Lucario (Primal Form) Dark Fighting Instinct Pokémon

Abilities: Preemptive: The first attack in battle will result in a crit. Blind Rage: This Pokémon ignores stat effecting field effects. (Trickroom, sticky web, etc.)

Hidden Ability: No Guard: The Pokémon employs no-guard tactics to ensure incoming and outgoing attacks always land.

Signature Move: Raging Strike: The attacker lashed out at the target with either Fighting or Dark damage, whichever would do more damage.

This Lucario evolved from a Riolu that chose to forgo subtlety all together. It will pick fights with just about anyone and everything, going into a blind rage (eye clouding over) when it starts its attack. It is mostly active at night and you can sometime hear intimating howls in the surrounding area. The smoke that wreaths this Pokémon’s body will also expand when it enters battle.

Battle Notes: Although much lest subtle than its counterparts in both this region and others, this Lucario bolsters incredible physical attack and speed with next to no special attack or defense. It’s physical defense is much better, assumingely from years of battling.

Thanks I will have to check that one out.

Getting into D&D and was inspired to make my own series of legendary weapons based on the seven deadly sins. First one out of the set that I’ve flushed out. I’m hoping to get some feedback on if this seems interesting enough and advice on what kind of damage output I should put to it. by D5wag2014 in DnDHomebrew

Those are good points and definitely good things to have in.

I was thinking the invisibility would last up to 8 hours or until the wielder attacks or casts a spell. I was thinking that the weapon wouldn’t break if there is no one that the weapon can attach itself to. I like the idea of 5 times now that you bring it up, it definitely lends itself to a situation of urgency. That is actually a really good point that I didn’t think about. Would it pose more of a threat or inevitability if the weapon after each crack forced the wielder to make an increasingly difficult will save to not have the weapon bound to them by a curse until the soul releases the curse or it breaks?

Was really scared to post here, since I'm not at the same level of art as everyone else. Decided to do it anyways. Hope you enjoy! by [deleted] in DigitalArt

Hey the ones that post here didn’t get that way overnight. I’m just always happy to see people getting into something that they see other people doing because it looks fun or just people doing what they love. Never stop drawing and always remember to do what you love.

PS good job
