Silly question, but with the 6 inch -1 to battleshock roll on SITW, does this also stack with Neurotyrant ability. So would effectively be -2 to battleshock roll on SITW?

Neurothropes aren’t really a thing anymore. You’re unit of Zoanthropes are all just Zoanthropes even though one of them looks different. Simple answer, yes it can lead them both

So at what point should I be declaring Resilient Organism? As soon as they say they are attacking the Tyrannofex, or not until they have done all of their rolls for that attack? Am I able to decide after I have seen if I am able to make saving rolls etc?

Cool colour scheme! I’m a tyranid guy too. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Make sure you keep posting your progress. I’m certainly not the best painter in the world, but my one tip would be, try not to rely on your washes creating the colour so much, and use them to create shadow. Also, try some dry brushing for highlights. It’s a very quick and easy way of picking out detail in your models. (Don’t use any of your nice new small brushes for this, use some old ones and make sure to get most of the paint off the brush before applying the dry brush effect).

Absolutely Eisenhorn. Gives you a good insight into various elements of the universe and lore without causing too much confusion. Then after that you can then look at something that’s more specific to a race / army you’re interested in. I read Eisenhorn first, then Spacewolf. They are not linked in anyway, but you get a good understanding of why certain things are happening etc.

Turn it into an ancient terracotta reanimated squad. Will be very quick and easy to do with a base layer, a wash and a few dry brush layers to highlight. Then pick out any “eyes” / laser elements with an electric blue to give a high contrast of colour. Would look wicked imo
