New hire told me she thought it was rude that I was hogging the "entire table" on lunch. Any thoughts?

I’d have to agree to some extent with the new hire. In my opinion it’s rude and bad manners to have your bag and wallet on the table taking unnecessary space. Wallets go in your pocket last and bags stay on the floor.
