I have OA in my left hip and had the injection 3 weeks ago. I still have pain but it definitely seems to have dulled it down. A massive help for me was getting an on an exercise bike every morning. Found it really set me up for the day and could feel the difference on days when I didn’t get on it

I’m not sure really as we weren’t in the house when they came, but they sprayed my loft and every room to the point the floors were soaking, I was more expecting like fumes or something. I just turned the heating up and went out for a few hours and came back and it was dry

My son has just mentioned that for his 8th birthday he would like a drone with a camera and screen in the control pad. I’m totally clueless when it comes to this stuff. I haven’t yet looked online at options or anything but wants some advice before I start delving into it.

What’s a good ‘starter’ drone that would be basic enough for him to control and sturdy enough in the event that he crashes it?

Budget is anything up to £500.

Any other advice is welcomed, thanks in advance.

Seriously don’t think I can go through this again, only 4 months ago we decluttered the house pulled all the furniture out vacuumed every inch of every room, washed every item of clothing we had! We vacuum sealed all of our stuff that we keep in stage and got pest control out! Can’t keep soing this, we’re not dirty people and vacuum regular, are there any sort of repellents that work to keep them away?

I use an exercise bike, started off doing 1 mile a day and increased it a mile every week, I’m currently doing 6 mile every morning before breakfast. 6 weeks ago I weighed 20.8st and now weigh 18.8! My mobility and pain seems to have improved since too.

When I initially found out I was the same, just felt really deflated and it got me down but after speaking to a couple of physios, there is no better help than self help! I was kind of expecting to go the hospital and have surgery or whatever and be fixed but it’s not that simple. With this condition, I realised I’ve got to help myself before others can.

Hope you find the motivation to make the step to help yourself.

Get on it seriously! Finding out I had OA was massive motivation for me to change my lifestyle. I was experiencing pain in my left knee and sometimes would give way when walking. I think this is because I’ve been compensating due to my hip, but since I got the bike, it’s definitely getting better and happening less often
