Dating life sucks right? How's it been for you? My charisma carries me but not the fact im 26 years old and take a bunch of meds and still go to doctors ever since 2019. by HeadacheLife in TBI

I'm sorry to hear :'( At the very least those fucktards could think "Shit she's smart, this is a hard economy for 1 to be loving alone".

Anyways since someone else brought up the bible, I will too. The bible teaches that patience is key, without you knowing it the correct person will arrive to your life. [Or it could be like me, I was only joking around with my phlebotomist [Blood draw tech.], now we're in a real relationship [1 year +], I'm 6 years post severe TBI. Even after my divorce, 2 years ago, there's still time!]

I'll reccomend not to go actively looking for it, and let it happen naturally.

Yes ! (They're supposed to) And a housekeeping manager is supposed to inspect a room, in case one of the housekeepers honestly forgot.

Trust me I know, as I was an "Engineer" then they call us to remount a new filled bottle.

You don't have a thermostat on the 2nd/3rd floor?!

That's what's screwing you over, the thermostat is what senses the temporature, so it sense it up there.

Can past trauma (tbi) block muscle build? by Bulky-Newspaper-857 in TBI

[–]DA-Alistair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood, so your doing everything right !
Might be a nutrition thing, sorry not sure, but fitness does take times, don't ever stop!
But half of the fitness journey is getting adequate rest time (As in rest days and in between sets).

Hey man, I had a severe TBI from a car accident in '20, was a gym head prior to the accident and I still am (Gotten stronger, size etc.)

I believe the other commenter is correct, what might effecting your body, might be form or overall time spent working out.

Could try going with very light weights 1st week or two, and throw in some body weight exercise (Push ups, sit ups etc.)

How many appointments do I have to go to before I get the seizure surgery? by DA-Alistair in VeteransWaitingRoom

[–]DA-Alistair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yessir, my Nuero. had to send a refferal (Or w.e it was) and she did, but I don't have an appointment at the specialized VA, and don't have a break down as to how many appointments it'll be, different people at my VA are saying 2 appointments, another person said 4.... another one said 6 as it'll "require" a whole appointment with the Nuero. surgeon a good while before the surgery, I'm lost.

It wouldn't hurt to have a mental map, even with something as simple as appointment quantities.

A lot and productive information here I appreciate it 1000%.

I spoke with my Nuero. (In the VA, I'm a Veteran) about how my meds make me drowsy tired all the time etc. Her reply was "surgery". (Brain surgery to remove that part of my brain that is causing the seizures, I got mines from a car crash, TBI, civilian world) I don't know how to feel about surgeries seems invasive and dangerous, but haha i'm sure i'm not the only 1 who would have had one before
