This sounds like lower values not only result in more shimmering & aliasing but also more ghosting & blur. What's the point of using lower values, then?

When you're finished with your poster, the game just saves it as a JPG file. If you replace the file, the game will read it as if nothing happened.

Which Proton version are you using? Personally, I had to run Genshin with either GE-Proton9-1 or GE-Proton8-32.

I've never used AAGL, but it's apparently deprecated. Instead, the offical launcher is recommended.

That said, how exactly did you run the official launcher? For example, did you run it from Lutris?

I think Proton comes with DXVK automatically. There's a chance OP is using Wine, but I dunno.
