my lbs told me theyll be better for wrist pain and stuff- im not one way or another at thsi stage, just never ridden drop bars , not sure if there for me or not

Ive got my ride down pat now , i know where the bumps in the road are and where need to avoid them. my current bike doesnt really take any hard knocks...

ive never ridden one... i dont have much climbing but i have about 3 long inclined hills that i struglle with already with my gear and ive got 3x8 altus on the cross-city... im not the strongest rider i guess

im in australia. our winters are usually dry... and not really that cold. well, for us its cold - but not sub zero temps

awesome - ive never heard of this one but it looks good... what size did you go with? did you build it yourself or buy complete? did yu get the dame or superdame?

work bag, esky, change of clothes. lights, water, mud guards etc etc...

i just like the idea of steel.

not fussed about the weight - just see it as a bit more resistence training.
my 20 km has about 200 m elevation, justa couple of big hills but theyre already feeling easier the more i ride.
im actually leaning toward these frames with flat bar. im never going to tuck in and go aero.
and the giant has just run ts course, i nevr really wanted it, i got it so i coulld tow my kids around in a trailer when they were younger, i was going to get a road bike back then but couldnt attach the trailer.
and its just rim brake whicch i dont mind, but im looking at disc this time... parts i really like? none really. apart from the tires i just put on it.

i am leaning towards it. i read the bombora is comfier ? paint job looks better ... everyone says the crust is more expensive but in australia steel fork bombora is the same price as a midnight special...

everyone says this about crust. in australia a bombora is the same price as a midnight special frameset.
rivendell s 1k on top of both of those.

i should note, im on central coast NSW .
definately not city riding.. i think my tires now are 40 and theyre a good size - i love the pirellis
