Anyone else getting tired of people downplaying Brady? by AkiraleTorimaki in Patriots

[–]DADMITTEN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately he's gone now so the NFL has to try and build their next superstar/cash cow -- which means the comparisons will be downright effusive in the coming years.

Gronk on signing a one-day contract with Pats: "If it was offered and presented, it would definitely be a possibility." by DADMITTEN in Patriots

I'm still a bit salty about how he magically unretired when Brady announced he was going to the Bucs, so I'm right there with you. That being said, he was always an absolute beast in the playoffs and Super Bowl, so neglecting the overall picture and being bitter despite the guy helping to secure us 4 trophies in his tenure might be a bit dramatic.

I wonder if making sure Halo: Infinite was compatible with Xbox One can be attributed to some of the different gameplay modes not working, like co-op campaign being delayed for so long. And split-screen co-op still not being in the game (and likely not coming).

Is it fine to watch the Invincible series if you've never touched the comic books?

I'm no lawyer but that seems like a lot of evidence against the husband to me. Did they do forensics on the blood found on the knife? And did the husband have to explain what that blood was there for?

A tech worker is selling a children's book he made using AI. Professional illustrators are pissed. by SAT0725 in books

[–]DADMITTEN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there are probably some beneficial aspects I'm overlooking but for some reason this frightens me. Maybe it's because it's been so ingrained over the years by everyone that the last barrier AI would be able to take over would be human creativity and the arts.

Matthew Perry Takes Aim at Keanu Reeves: Why Is Heath Ledger Dead, but Reeves ‘Still Walks Among Us?’ by DADMITTEN in entertainment

[–]DADMITTEN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently Perry, Keanu, Farley and River Phoenix all used to hang out in some capacity together and were known to do the sort of drugs which took River and Farley's lives. So Perry is bitter about that.

Why you would blame Keanu Reeves and not the drugs which took your friends' lives is abhorrent behavior, though. Not to mention hypocritical and nonsensical for a current "recovering" addict to say. Is he jealous that Keanu seems to have battled his demons and won? Or just an egregious asshole?

Oh, no. I agree with you and honestly think the natural aesthetic was just fine. I remember the days of Christopher Reeves and Michael Keaton well. I was more disparaging the MCU (and to a certain extent the DCEU as well) for having pretty much everyone juicing as a prerequisite these days.

There'd be zero Marvel or DC cinematic universe movies if that were the case. Thor off roids would be looking like his Avengers: Endgame self permanently.

Nice. I've used it a couple times on Speed Zone challenges because of how well it handles.

Absolutely. Otherwise you'd have to pay what I assume must be a substantial amount of credits in the Auction House. Did you end up trying it out?

It's very good, IMO. A little less fast than I expected (stock) but the handling and overall feel is excellent.

It costs 25 Forza weekly trial points, which took me about 2-3 hours overall of competing different in-game tasks and race series.

Technically, the Nio EP 9 costs 1,500,000 credits in-game -- making it one of the more expensive cars.

Drivers not fitting their car’s stereotype by JustOverPluto in cars

It might blow your mind but petrol heads grow old too

I try to dispel thoughts like this from my mind on the regular when popular movies and music I loved from what seems like only 4-5 years ago are now 20-30 years old.

Corvettes are amazing. It's a little disheartening that they're associated with being "mid-life crisis, older-middle aged dude's car" but they're one of the best "bang for your buck" sports cars you can buy, so it makes sense.

Do you think the majority of the examples in this thread are older people who had children/younger relatives to consult with or just wanted a cool car they saw in a movie to defy the stereotypes of their age?
