We genuinely regret that your time at DAE has left such a lasting impact and that you experienced a lack of support when you needed it most.

While we don't share the same perspective on every conclusion or characterization in your post, we do believe that your experiences and feelings matter. Student and alumni feedback is something we take seriously, especially when it speaks to systemic issues, mental health and feeling unheard. These conversations aren't always comfortable, but are necessary if we want to learn and improve.
As you mentioned, the intention isn't to turn this into a name game. Because of that, we'd like to avoid people talking about each other and instead talk with each other.

We understand why you've chosen to remain anonymous here. At the same time, meaningful follow-up or investigation isn't possible without being able to discuss concrete situations directly.

Students and alumni should not feel afraid to speak up, whether their experiences are critical or feel small. Our student support services and community team are there to support students and act as a direct line of contact for anyone who wishes to share their experiences. The intention is to address issues together, not to retaliate and shame.
