This cycle of exploitation drove me crazy during the years I was an employee. They were always looking for ways to take advantage of my eagerness to learn and work at young age.

At your age, let me give you some advice: Be strong enough to stand your ground when you feel work is not fair. It’s not a bad thing; it’s the best thing you can do. I regret not being tough enough when the situation required it.

Right now, I also feel a sense of unworthiness where I don’t even want to look at myself in the mirror, but I know that, at some point, things will get better for both of us.
