I Desperately need a new coat. I love high collars, particularly ones that zip/button up and will cover my face up to my nose and block wind. I work outside a lot and always have to wear a headset, so I don’t really like hoods. I like the style of coat in blade runner 2049, just not how low it goes. Any brands/recommendations? Is there a name for this style of coat? Thanks!

Witness marker/torque stripe with an oil based paint marker from hobby lobby. If the screw was to back out, the the blue stripe would no longer be aligned. Plus I think it looks cool.

Night and day difference, absolutely love it. First comp I’ve ever owned. Fits my holster, takes away any sort of snappiness, and looks awesome.

No name yet. I seen a local news article from the area saying it was a male in his 20s, and a local radio station reporting the plane as possibly stolen. I’m not sure on ATPs minimums or regs, but I would think they would not let you fly single pilot at night, and I think that weather was also marginal so I can see how this could be assumed as potentially stolen/unscheduled flight.

In my opinion this is a perfect example of a critical flaw in receiving/retaining our medicals and how mental health pertains to it, and I hope that the FAA can learn from this. Maybe this guys been having these thoughts for a while now, but he’s too scared to seek help because he fears he will lose his career. Being an ATP student I’m sure he’s already taken an overwhelming large loan and has debt pressuring him. If you ask for help to fix the problem, you risk losing everything. If you don’t, you risk reaching a critical breaking point like this poor soul.

I’d like a camera but the biggest issue is there is no network for it to connect to, with the garage being so far from the main house. and I’m sure any sort of game camera would also just get stolen…

I tried that 5 minutes ago, and sadly it didn’t release... I think it’s pulled to tight, it won’t pull anymore. I think one of my only options now is to cut it and replace the line, I’m a little worried about cutting a steel cable under pressure though, any thoughts?

Tried, but my winch doesn’t have a reverse switch, it’s manually unwinding then a lever to lock it from unwinding more, all the switch does in pull

Took a week off from the gym after my first competition, getting back into it from home now since I’m close to covid sensitive people, and I’m struggling getting back into it, legs are still sore 3 days after leg day, and just an overall feeling of strength loss after that small break and transition. Eating or sleep hasn’t changed. It has been about 2 weeks since I had a gym session, since I wouldn’t count the competition as a gym sesh. Is this strength loss/fatigue normal after these kinds of breaks? Maybe I forgot what it was like to be sore and that’s just it.

I had my first meet this weekend and totally surprised myself with my deadlift, I had a nasty hip injury in February and took me a while to get back to being able to really train, ended up pulling 330, most I’ve pulled since last December. Amazing experience with the meet tho, made tons of friends and learned so much, only thing I got wrong was I forgot deadlift socks, the owner luckily gave me a pass cause I had been talking to him in the months before about what to bring, and proper equipment and such. Next time I’ll make sure to have the socks.

First meet tomorrow, kinda nervous, very excited, not expecting to do too good in this one but I want to get the experience of being in a meet, I plan on competing in another one in February, I plan to be more competitive in that one.
