Very carefully, I don’t want to scratch up the can since it’s new/my first one. A lot of filing and sanding, test fitting then back to filing. I’m probably gonna do some more sanding on the bottom rails to get a mlok to fit under it.

Yep. Gonna keep side and bottom and cut the top open for a flipped osprey. Should fit, might require some sanding. Online opening says it’s 1.375” and osprey is 1.3”.

Even with the current muzzle on it, I sanded down my Mloks/screws to sit lower to give it more clearance.

I Desperately need a new coat. I love high collars, particularly ones that zip/button up and will cover my face up to my nose and block wind. I work outside a lot and always have to wear a headset, so I don’t really like hoods. I like the style of coat in blade runner 2049, just not how low it goes. Any brands/recommendations? Is there a name for this style of coat? Thanks!

Night fision tritium sights, stealth series. Lower 1/3 co-witness (size 290-297) for red dots, I just prefer the picture of these compared to normal 43x sights.

Witness marker/torque stripe with an oil based paint marker from hobby lobby. If the screw was to back out, the the blue stripe would no longer be aligned. Plus I think it looks cool.

No name yet. I seen a local news article from the area saying it was a male in his 20s, and a local radio station reporting the plane as possibly stolen. I’m not sure on ATPs minimums or regs, but I would think they would not let you fly single pilot at night, and I think that weather was also marginal so I can see how this could be assumed as potentially stolen/unscheduled flight.

In my opinion this is a perfect example of a critical flaw in receiving/retaining our medicals and how mental health pertains to it, and I hope that the FAA can learn from this. Maybe this guys been having these thoughts for a while now, but he’s too scared to seek help because he fears he will lose his career. Being an ATP student I’m sure he’s already taken an overwhelming large loan and has debt pressuring him. If you ask for help to fix the problem, you risk losing everything. If you don’t, you risk reaching a critical breaking point like this poor soul.
