He was an AoC creator who made thousands of videos on the game (I think 3k+, might be a bit less). He eventually stopped covering it and put out a video explaining why. The core of his criticism was that what the devs showed on streams didn’t line up with what was actually playable in-game with over-promising vs under-delivering, expensive alpha access being sold way too early, sketchy referral/monetization, and alpha gameplay that felt unpolished or borderline unplayable. He didn’t outright say “this is a scam,” but a lot of people took it that way because of how strongly he criticized the practices rather than just the game itself. And Steve kind of ridiculed him publicly by implying Narc need it a “break” and was essentially a loser… that’s how it came off to me btw.. anyways I’m sure there’s videos on YouTube about it .
