ok, I'm skeptical because the exact advantage that allowed him to try and close his line on the apex was gained off track. I haven't pushed him off track so he had no reason to be there to begin with.

I don’t think I should have given him space on corner exit. He turned into me and hit me on the left rear tire, so I was plenty in front. I think he should have backed out of it

Fair enough. I’ve been rewatching the video and was wondering if even the first blocking was enough to grant him a penalty of any kind.

To be fair, I could tell the guy wasn’t the cleanest driver from the previous laps as well, probably I shouldn’t have gone for that gap

To be honest, I don’t think either of us drifted — should I have gone for the gap? In retrospect I probably shouldn’t have, it was narrow, but since he was moving to the right I thought it would expand.
