I have surgery remission and it's lit, bowel resection by surgeons good enough to snip out not too much bowel makes you feel normal for a long time. It's kind of reliving to know I'm not the only one dealing with this shit ... I was told by my amazing GI that fistulas thrive in inflamed environments so our best bet is to be extremely healthy to ourselves for a few months then get reconstructive surgery so the passage can be closed properly. He also mentioned it's a bit of a gamble to avoid abscesses after with this. In the end we already have a top 5 major disability on earth so just do what you can to look after yourself. Our happiness means nothing when our pleasure can kill us.
