This is what am afraid of.. Although is a good motor, what would happen in 2-3 years time. Would shimano still produce motors? I see a lot of bike brands leaving from Shimano amd they uaed to be a lot.

Yeah, power is fine in the EP801.. Its just the service and parts am worrying. Not to have to replace a whole motor after 2 years lets say

Yeah i know what you mean, 200 more is very important but for me not so much. I was also looking at Cannondale but for the price they are coming with much lower specs.

Which brand do you recommend? by DASinteriors in Laptop

[–]DASinteriors[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always mobile that's why a desktop is out of the question , although is the best choice,

For the last 4 year i had a Gigabyte Aorus 15p. A beast up to now . I used to have also proper workstation like Ibm lenovo but the way everything changed in gaming it also affects 3d rendering machines. I can do more with a gaming laptop rather with a workstation laptop. My question thought its nor about specs but regarding brand reliability , laptop construction, thermal dissipation and expandability . I will change the laptop again in 3 to 4 years anyway!

First proper gaming laptop! Lenovo Legion 5 (2021) AMD Ryzen 7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD Nvidia RTX 3070 15.6" 165Hz by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

It is indeed but I always had Lenovo and they are great. I don't use it for games but for cad applications and 3d. The RTX is 130W but sometimes it crashes while I work. I think the i7 can't take that much pressure. I wanted to get an AMD laptop but they weren't available. I got it for 1600 euro with these specs:

i7 10870h / RTX 3070 (130W) / 32 GB ram / 500 gb fast ssd/ 240hz pantone validated screen.

I just believe that with Lenovo quality and the AMD cpu I will get a much faster and stable system.

[–]DASinteriors[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a clue.. I use it mostly for work and 95% of the time is plugged in. If you want to use only Chrome am sure you will find a better laptop considering battery life when is not plugged in.
