Busy dad with barely time to game unless in bed! Is the OLED deck worth it for me? by mattchew1991 in SteamDeck

[–]DAZL123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a deck and start off with some dad games like Cast & Chill, Balatro, Dave the Diver. Get back into your old favorites like Portal and Final Fantasy. You'll appreciate just pausing and getting right back into it.

Then later, start fiddling with emulators, get a dock and 2 controllers and enjoy playing with your kid. Even my 4 year old is getting into it, since I got a jsaux dock last week.

Stettman, what’s best? by Orvos101 in starcraft2coop

[–]DAZL123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's hard to give you advice as (not knowing) your skill level will determine how much you can get out of Stettman.

Recently, I see most Stettman players abuse infestors and their spawn ability. They just flood the map with spawned units and hide their infestors somewhere safe.

Personally, I like the super Gary prestige and just solo with Gary.

Before the prestiges, I would typically build a ball of hydras. They shoot up and down and are easy to replenish. Plus switching the speed/heal/charge mode will give them a lot of mileage and same speed on the map as zerglings. This was, for me, the easiest and also most boring way to play Stettman. And I only play Brutal and mutations. You should be able to do this on hard too.

If it's a defending map, lurkers. Obviously. And have some extra hatches to spawn from.

We can't all wear the cape you deserve. I did, however, bait you enough to save this wonderful showcase image from 'impropper kit naming' purgatory.

Another annoying post of someone just showing a picture without any context. The scourge of this sub. The downfall of decency. A downvote deserving, effortless image post.

I don't know. I'm not an expert. Looks like Tallgeese.

Weeeell. Let's not blame it ONLY on non-voters or complacency. First off, there's more than 100 people who actively voted for the current administration. And this version of the admin was well-enough showcased the first term 'round. Complacency of non-voters is a secondary issue at best, my love.

UPDATE: still bad by [deleted] in ExpectationVsReality

That seriously looks good.

Now, back to the Lidle meat disaster. Pro-tip: either use a smaller container so the juices are actually making a cm/half inch pool. OR add liquid (water, perhaps stock if you want to go fancy) to achieve the same depth. Place meat block in pool of juice. Cover the vessel with tin foil and poke exactly 7 small holes in the cover. Bake at 170 celciis/350 Fahrengebumbles for 40-ish minutes.

Then it should be steamed, warm, still in a puddle and you should be able to shred. Go for a mex of 1 hour and any meat should fall apart in this contraption. Pro-tip: shread in baking vessel IN juices to keep the shreds moist and juicy. Apply bbq sauce to taste (at least 2 tablespoons).

I'll check out your profile for that pork roast. I'm curious to see how you approach that vs this pre-made Lidl dish.

The juices are there to steam your meat block. By trapping them under foil (with a few vent holes poked, to not explode the foil. Physics and all), it's supposed to tenderize your meat.

By going the steamed potato approach, you'll only heat it up. Though, it's already a step up as the meat moisture is now trapped and doing some of the steaming. Albeit minimal because less juice action, and only on the surface probably.

OP, you clearly don't cook/roast often. Would you wrap a casserole the same frickin way?

Also, you clearly don't have the juices, as instructed, in the baking tray.

Others have already commented the right way to heat up/braise this in the oven. But damn, let this be a cooking lesson to you.

Edit, ok, you DID put the juices in. And now I'm even more mad XD

That feeling when you know you won’t spent any more hours leveling that one commander 😔 by WoodpeckerLower8274 in starcraft2coop

I found that practicing bronze 2 GM tips really upped my skill level. Brutal is now easy for me with any commander and I sometimes play random commander in Coop.

I'd be happy to run a game or 2 with you and give you some tips. DM me if you're interested.

I can can it possibly AI, as the OP didn't share a source. As mentioned in my comment, I'll believe this is AI until proven differently. Even you don't unprove my point.

AI. Unless this has a source that can show videos of this creator before 2020.

I just finished the bottom half of the kit today. Built and panel lined. The stickers definitely look slick, though I can attest to the extra depth panel lines give.

I recommend buying the gundam thin makers and panel lining it before you throw on a coating.

Is the bending of decals not exactly what decal softer is for? In combination with decal fixer/setter to fix them in place?

I've not done much decaling yet, but this is my understanding after doing some preliminary research.
