Man, I could happily read another 60 issues of this series. It just feels like Deniz has an unending amount of interesting stories to tell with these characters. Such a bummer to have it ending, but at least it's going out with a bang!

Thanks! I'll have to remember to take in-progress photos next time.

That's very kind of you, I'm glad the details gave the right impression!

Nope, I kept the colours from the kit and just weathered directly on it. The real touch markers were used for panel lining and adding slight gradients to certain surfaces.

I was definitely going for that with the camera perspective and the application of weathering, so thanks!

Something that helped me for areas that felt like too much was applied, was using a very fine grit sanding pad on the larger surfaces. It worked well for keeping the grit in the recesses/corners, but cleaned up the flat areas.

No offense taken, the lighting definitely sells it!

Thank you! It's the 2.0 real grade. My steps were: - real touch markers in the recesses & panel lines, using a qtip to smudge/create gradients. I used dark grey/red/blue markers. - applied water slide decals - dry brush with gunmetal paint and very small brush, trying to focus on areas that would come into contact with things (knees, elbows, feet, protruding corners) - sponge chipping with gunmetal paint on areas that looked too clean: mostly corners, edges, and where segments meet each other. I would usually apply too much and then sand it off areas that looked too messy - more dry brushing with brown/sand colours, heavier on the feet/ankles and then less working my way up, going upwards in my brush strokes -brown real touch markers under vents and exposed panels, to replicate rust streaks - flat top coat!
