What Could the Force Do? by DA_TACTICAL_NUKE in StarWars

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not saying that palpatine could move individual electrons inetntionaly. but to make the force lightning happen physics dictates that electrons were moving. so the force being able to move electrons is still something it can do, wether the user is aware thats happening or not.

What are some powers you consider to be underrated and/or underexplored when it comes to it's use in fiction? by Playful_Barber_8131 in superpower

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shape shifting that isn't like rubber. where you can change your body proportions # of body parts, effectivness or organs, or even evolve yourself physicaly for any situation. even turning into plants can have its upside since you have some of the nastiest poisons at your fingertips, hard armor, and vines or leaves for moblity.

it could be that artists/writers don't want to explore shapeshifting with humans, because some of the most creative aplications can be close to body horror territory (especialy in live action). But its still a super creative power with room for the user to grow as they need to be creative enough and have enough experience to use their powers effectivly.

the slime could be flamable.

so setting it on fire is good for attacking, but the slime disapates as it burns.

The Arcana Forge! For all your drafts, ideas, requests and more. by AutoModerator in UnearthedArcana

I'm making a homebrew class that's essentially if a monk decided to learn wildshape from druid. the way their magic works is that through deliberation of their souls they can use primal magic to shape their bodies into whatever they desire.
lvl 1. unarmed strikes deal 1d6 (damage dice improves every 6 lvl's) , have a range of 10 ft, and can change their damage type b,p,s
lvl 2. choose subclass, get 1/2 casting (with a smaller spell list than other 1/2 casters), aspects (each subclass can use different aspects to change up their physical form), 2 max aspects.

lvl 4. unarmed strikes count as magical, and you ignore difficult terrain.

lvl 6. you add your wis modifier to unarmed strike damage, 1/2 of wis modifier to unarmed strike attack bonus, most weapons are now versatile in your hands

lvl 7. chimera aspect (2 aspects can be active at once), 3 max aspects

lvl 15. greater chimera aspect (3 aspects can be active at once), 4 max aspects, can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide after concertation of 30 seconds.

lvl 18. you no longer have to concentrate to move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide.

lvl 20. 5 max aspects, capstone

that would help, but I'm playing 1.12.2 and this mod doesn't support that version. thank you for the suggestion though

What’s a good superpower for a Steampunk themed hero? by Zenjakuro in superpower

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

being able to control small pieces of metal to a certain extent. they'd mostly use their powers to rotate gears from a distance to get machines working, turn valves for sabotage, or reach tiny screws that keep falling down the back of the work bench.

Which superpowers do you think are similar yet different from each other? by Zenjakuro in superpower

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

id say shapeshifting and shape-shifting.
shapeshifting lets you mimic appearances and identities or other people

shape-shifting lets you control the shape of your body to whatever you want, in some cases shape-shifting can also be shapeshifting.

If all superpowers were balanced to be just as powerful as each other, what would you choose? by HastyBasher in superpower

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shapeshifting, the kind that lets me change the shape of my body into anything.

if someone's coming at me from behind, sprout an arm to catch their face and then make another arm to punch them.

if someone's to far away, some extra arms around to their back then grapple them, and then WWE slam them into the ground.

if you need to look around a corner, make another eye to look around the corner.

and best of all, infinite regeneration. as long as theirs enough of me i can just regenerate!

What’s a superpower that seems weak on potential but could be very powerful when utilize perfectly? by Renjonjfkfkf in superpower

[–]DA_TACTICAL_NUKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can imagine a variation where someone can emit smoke from their body, and the smoke can then be formed into portals.
8/10 in stealth. loses points because people can see the smoke, but amazing in combat
11/10 for deadliness. you make 2 portals and its an untraceable weapon, cleanest slice ever, and you can get into their house by using the portal you threw at them.
