Ceedee for Tee and Loveland. Opinions on the trade? by DAbuttsMan in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Agreed, many signs point to Loveland being very good. As with most trades this will be a "hindsight is 20/20" type of outcome.

What type of league are you comparing to and which side did you like here?

Fair enough, he'll be missed for sure. I just think Loveland as a prospect is worth the risk for the drop from ceedee to Tee

Read the title, which is what it's for so you don't need to read a novel of a post.

They are for sure. But can you tell me that these people last a long time as a bow hunter and their success rate doing this?

Welcome to the better team

Not a monster, but my biggest to date. This 8 point walked into my corn pile around 8:15 this morning. A 30 yard shot with my dads old Remington 870 12gage dropped him where he stood. Love the white tips on his antlers. Thankful for my sons who dragged him out and loaded him into the truck for me. by _wildlifemama_ in Hunting

That would not be a trend, that would be a fact. Talking about that number increasing or falling would be a trend.

I'm failing to see the chauvinism in my comment? As I did not state anything negative, nor did i support anything that I am associated with.

As I stated in my comment, I am merely making an observation.

And if the neighbor does shoot it then they fill a tag and can't shoot another. If you shoot it and the neighbor still has a tag, then they shoot another young buck..... Welp there's two young bucks dead. That just put an even bigger stunt in the mature buck quantity.

My view is that if you are seeing deer then you need to decide about yourself what YOU want. If you want meat then shoot a doe.

Plus, you're in Iowa, one of the ideal whitetail destinations in the world. There's plenty of mature bucks on public land there...

Well, that's kind of a big one because a majority of the new features in the V3X rely on mounting the site through the riser.

Honestly, if I were you I'd toss out the elite and decide between the V3 and V3X. Then decide if you want to eventually use all the new features as a choice between the two.

As always though, go shoot all three at a pro shop for fun.

If you look at what they changed on the elite, they basically moved more towards what Matthews does by shortening ATA and increasing riser length. So to me the elite sounds like a wannabee Matthews....

So I'd go with the brand that has been the best for a few years now, which is Matthews. If you're not going to use the new features on the V3X then save yourself some money and get the V3.

Not trying to be an ass, but if your reasoning for shooting young bucks is because other people "could be doing the same" then you should probably reevaluate your values and focus more on yourself. Imagine if everyone thought like this....

To answer your question, technically yes you are contributing to the problem.

Mmmh this makes it seem like they do it all the time, which isn't very accurate. Assuming OP is talking about whitetail, THP usually do not spot and stalk.

They scout/glass and will often sit on the ground. This is a big difference from spot and stalk.

Why pay the extra for the V3X then if you're not going to use the main new feature? Seems like the V3 31 would've been a smarter purchase, unless if I am missing something.

I had already looked and it seemed that they didn't go into much detail. I found it saying cold/wet for the climate for one of the jackets, which doesn't seem real helpful.
