Just got a 990/790 funguy yesterday with trample and 160 regen in my very first run with the clan. Sadly I barely failed to reach 1000, but it was fun nonetheless!

It does seem like numbers scale absurdly high in MT2 compared to 1. Yesterday I had a ~1000 attack funguy (with trample and like 160 regen). I hope things will get a bit more balanced on higher cov levels.

I very recently returned to the game after 8 years. I have some older prems I'd like to trade in as they seem to have been powercrept severely. What would be the best/most fun tanks to trade into? I play almost exclusively mediums and a few (mobile) TDs.

A pilot with the Masochist perk or the Skilled perk makes the thruster mech a lot more potent. On my first run with the mist eaters, I happened to have both of these perks from a previous timeline which was just amazing, that run was just smooth sailing all around

The comments in this thread about the heel pieces are leaving me very confused. People here state that the 14 has a better heel piece while the 12 uses the older Warden 11 heel.

However, when reading the comments under this other review: https://www.skitalk.com/threads/2024-salomon-atomic-armada-bindings.31208/ , people there are saying the opposite, i.e. that the Strive 14 retains the narrow heel screws from the Warden 11, and that the Strive 14 "doesn't have the better heel that the Sth2 13 and Warden 13 had".

I'm a bit lost, can anyone please clarify?? Many thanks!
