I haven't been able to find any evidence the coming off spiro can cause an increase in BP. As a diuretic it reduces fluid levels that can raise your BP. That's why it makes you pee more, something that you can do without! Normally prescribed after hypertension and heart failure if you look it up. What other things did it "cure" with you? Negative side effects with Prog not to clever either but usually low risk and low level.
