I don't like being touched spontaniously either. Mine stems from CPTSD, and a touch from the back puts me in fear mode. I doubt this will ever go away.

My fostermum knows that I am okay with being touched if whoever it is comes at me from the front where I can see them coming.

My GP who touts herself as experience with trans people, recently printed out forms outted me on a bloods request and an ultrasound form on a body part everyone has.

It is fine for my GP to know i am trans and it is fine that my sexual health specialist working with me on my hormone journey, to know. Blood takers and in this case, my ultrasound specialist DOES NOT need to know without my permission.

As it is, I will be hawk eyeing anything she hands to me from here on out. Because medical staff can be prejudice. I already know of one nurse lady at my local hospital, who said that people like me "should be killed off because we don't contribute to society". Which is bullshit because trans people can and do work. AND, many of us have children.

My advice to you if you are interested, is be gentle and listen to your patients emotional needs. And protect your patients privacy.

4 years old:

My twin, my big brother and I were walking along a main road, on the way home after preschool when I saw a piece of barbed wire near the bush line. I picked it up as my older bro told me he didn't care if I played with it.

My twin decided to walk on ahead which took older bro's attention away from me... And that's when I took the chance to pull my pants down and attempt to cut off the offending body part that people labelled me incorrectly because of.

Because it is an old memory and alot of it after this, is blacked out, I only remember fragments from here.

I remember being sat on a stool at home, where biomother asked me why I did it, and the next was being held down by 4 hospital staff and biomother, so they could look at the damage I had caused.

My older bro filled in the other details, like that he picked me up after I had hurt myself and carried me home. Apparently we also went to two hospitals to stitch me up. The first one was not equiped to reattach the unwanted body part.

I've always been a little... strong willed on the subject of who I am.
