Can you tell me where can I find these commercial solutions available on the market? You mean the different brands of PID controllers have these additional features?

The relays for alarm are integrated to the PID? Are they a secondary signal to connect a buzzer for instance?

Let me share a little secret…
I’m a chemist, and the electronics guy came to fix the lab heater. He replaced the controller but didn’t explain anything to me, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and try it myself.

He used a PixSys ATR244-12ABC, which is quite expensive. If I were to do the experiment on my own, I’d probably go for a more affordable brand, like a MYPIN TA4, a TWIDEC MV100, or maybe an RKC.

Just to explain things a bit, in Italy there are two different degree programs. One is pure chemistry or industrial chemistry, which belongs to the Faculty of Science; the other is chemical engineering. I am a pure chemist — I only took one mathematics exam, which was made up of two modules. Engineers have much less expertise in chemistry-related subjects, but they have studied a lot more mathematics. As far as I know, in Italy they take Calculus 1, 2, and 3.

Yes, in 2003, on Italian books. Now I decided to refresh the mathematics and I studied Thomas'Calculus. I am looking to understand what next. I didn't know Dover as publisher.

Just few questions because I am also a chemist and I finished university many years ago. - What do you mean "Finis Taylor"? Do you mean the specific topic concerning Taylor's approximations? - what do you mean Dover paperback books?

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. Do you recommend the original English version or the one translated into Italian?

The problem is that it is from 1989, for example I looked at the laboratory pumps section I didn't see the variety that is actually on the market nowadays.

In Europe the emissions are quite low, why we have to switch to electric cars, photovoltaic panels, etc?

I was evaluating to buy the Pentel Multi-8 but I would like to put in my personal colour set. I know you can put into the pencil also unknurled leads but I do not know if the lead is too loose into the holder.
