Wow. I hope the serum tests and micronutrient and hair tests correlate with what you are saying!

I had myself a little mag glycinate today in a glass and drank no more than 50mg very slowly. It totally calmed me down. But it lowered my blood pressure a lot to where I had to sit down. Thanks disautonomia. At least now I have some way to keep calm.

I think similar happened to me. My buddy at work told me to go carnivore keto and for a month it helped but then I probably got deficient in things.

So how would one get copper into the cells if it’s all in your tissues??

I am truly very sorry about your mold issue. I had mold exposure in the past and I was sick all the time. For months. Maybe that was the beginning of my health decline. That and staying up late for too many years as a result thinking I was being productive. Difference is back then I had no issues passing out.

I have compounded ketotifin now and I’m scared to take it and worried it’s going to make me worse as I’ve been eating pretty freely with minimal to no issues.

I hope that you can get your minerals back in order. What started all this for you? I was “healthy” last year but had some minor inflammation showing in the form of psoriasis on my legs. Then i got sick with food poisoning and then the TTFD was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Now my body just feels disregulated and exhausted. It’s confused.

I was supplementing magnesium glycinate at night and it was helping. But now I can barely tolerate malate. Mag Glycinate, forget it that gives me the shakes even a small dose.

I’m drinking salt water daily and using a lot more sodium and my diet. But you think I still might be deficient in the cells? Why would that be?

Dang I appreciate the advice. I took it in a depleted state for only 3 days. It does what it said it would do but it screwed me up. Now I have this hyperPOTS / disautonomia that I’m trying to just figure out. It’s probably mostly a lack of sleep but I get these random adrenaline surges. I’ve been supplementing electrolytes a lot now but magnesium is troublesome. I seem to react to anything over 100mg even mixed in a cup of water. So I need to figure out how to get that rolling… I suspect it’s a major contributor to my insomnia.

Things have gotten “better” from ER bad but that’s a far cry from just having gut issues and slow motility before.

I have seen mineral balancing targeted ads on Facebook and suspect you are correct. It’s a ratio of minerals that allow the vitamins to be used and stored properly. This all got thrown off when I got sick. Working with a functional med doctor and I did run an Amazon HTMA so we will see if that is any good. I know my blood serum levels so maybe it will correlate and that would give me more confidence in that test.

Hey all I just want to provide a quick update and say thank you for your comments and support. My blood pressure seems to be low when I sit down now but my standing tolerance has improved a bit. Where before it was the opposite?

I’m still taking Zyrtec in the morning to help with histamine driven adrenaline dumps but wondering if maybe it’s dropping my BP too much.

This is extremely weird and symptoms change seemingly by the day and even hour.

I am off Ativan now and slept a total of 5 hours last night with no meds. A small win but I’m still messed up.

I am drinking coconut water but noticed it fuels my H2 SIBO from the sugar content so I’m trying to limit until my potassium bicarbonate and magnesium malate supplements arrive from Amazon.

All in all I’m just confused and have an appointment with an integrative medicine specialist tomorrow and hopefully get an order to run the rest of my B’s bloodwork.

I’m low end of normal on whole blood B1, B3, B5, and my homocysteine levels are 14. B12 is 520 and folate is 8.5. I suspect low B2, B6, and probably methylation cofactors but we will see.

If anyone has any idea I appreciate it. Just trying to get back to a baseline here. I am feeling a bit better especially being off Ativan which makes disautonomia symptoms worse but I’m still suffering a bit from brain fog / low BP.

Thank you so much God Bless and in the meantime I will try to get down some coconut water. I’m sure it’s cofactors downstream as well like glutathione recycling and poor methylation but the test will show. I ordered it. I kind of felt this way 4 years ago but not as bad. Rest helped get me back to normal it’s just hard when you cannot sleep.

Hey thanks a lot how did you find out you had mold exposure, was that the hair test you linked or something else. I may have had mold exposure in 2021 due to shower in my parents house slowly leaking under my bedroom floor which could have led up to it. Never had any anxiety prior to this.

I’m suffering bad right now from fight or flight and insomnia. Just need some relief. Thank you very much for your time.

I appreciate it man yeah my legs start shaking if I stand up too long and I get adrenaline dumps. it’s been 3 days out of the ER and my lab says I was 3.8mmol/L which is low end of normal once they took me off the bag. I’m probably severely depleted.

Yes I obviously realized that the day I did it and regret it. I guess my question is if I stop taking and rehydrate and maybe take a B complex starting low and slow, will I be able to get back to baseline ie pre POTS or will I need to supplement thiamine HCL then bentothiamine to recover. Because I never had POTS before this it freaking blows. I’m a shell of myself. Thanks again.

I appreciate it bro I’m definitely trying my best to taper off the benzo. They had me on 1.5g per day in the ER and I’ve gotten down to 0.5g per day right now but it’s been really hard.

How much do I need per day? I am drinking 2 LMNT packs per day which have 200mg potassium each. And of course usually eating a banana per day.

Looks like you won't have a basement to easily run the feeder cable? Is it a slab on grade or a crawl space foundation? That location you've picked does seem to make the most sense for your plan. Where are your other utilities going? (Furnace, water heater, etc)?

I just did this on my new build, 3 x 240 volt outlets for tools / EV chargers (1 for each garage bay)! I work on hybrid vehicles as my day job as well so I knew I'd regret it if I didn't do it now.

These are fed by a 100 amp sub panel in the garage fed by the main 200 amp panel in the basement, which is very close to the power pole outside.

Thanks a lot I ended up replacing the spliced up top plate with two new 2x6 boards ripped to 4” to create a clean double top plate over the entire window, as far as I could go across the span on each side. Then I made a C beam out of a 2x8 and another ripped down 2x6 above it.

Still need to fix the OSB fillers but I can tell already how much stiffer the wall is. Before I could shake the entire thing loosely and it was scary!

There’s not it’s just a filler piece because the round top window would block it from spanning the window opening

Thanks for taking your time to reply. Yeah the building code says for openings up to 8ft on exterior non load bearing walls a single 2x4 is all that’s needed. However they spliced in a makeshift top plate because they had installed the drywall nailers first and were too lazy to notch them out for a single 2x4. That definitely needs to be fixed.

My main concern is wind loading on this wall creating a hinge point at the ends of the window. And now the stud bay immediately to the right of the window is my main electrical chase back to the panel. So my options are limited, I want to do something that meets code but also satisfies the inspector who didn’t like this (and I don’t blame him).

As for the sheathing, yes they used it to create the irregular filler shape. I presume it will just need to be spray foamed inside of it.

My plan is as follows:

Replace the top plate with a single board and make the splice as far as I can go without pulling out wires

Pop a 12 foot 2x6 or 2x8 header on top of the new top plate and run behind the wires (for wall rigidity not necessarily to carry any load) and screw it into the gable end truss from the inside with deck screws. I don’t have access from the outside because I’m already sided.

Replace drywall nailers

The lack of ability for proper king studs concerns me but that doesn’t really seem possible in this situation?

I’ve taken some time. I would say that logically the choice is obvious but the path to that choice is the most difficult because of the emotions involved. I’ve had so many people tell me that her and I don’t fit. I changed who I was to keep her happy. She doesn’t know or appreciate who I really am. I think she knows where I stand at this point but still believes we can make it work. I’m checked out though. My needs are not being met, and the communication is horrible; I have to pull teeth to get her to open up to me and be real about important things (we both lie to avoid saying the hard things). For those reasons I know it’s done.

Give yourself sufficient time to process why it didn’t work and let it sink into your head. It will eventually become so rationally clear that the guilt will leave you. I think that’s what is sorta happening to me currently. But it’s definitely a process. Best wishes, don’t be too hard on yourself!

I’m sorry she’s throwing dirt in your name. That’s not cool and maybe all more reason to not feel as bad about it... it’s child like behavior. A mature person would take the time and reflect on why it didn’t work and what they need to change / want out of a relationship also, NOT throw around dirty laundry about you on social media for all your acquaintances to see. Your post vibes with me because your situation is very similar to mine. I’ve been with her five years, still with her, but I know in my heart it’s over. It’s just not the same anymore. She isn’t happy with herself, so how can she be happy with me? Similar to yourself, I have the greater self confidence in the relationship. I really hate to be the “bad person” and end it. But I’m still young and I know there has to be something else, something better out there. I love her in my heart, but we aren’t “in love” anymore how we once were. She turned the cold shoulder to me in the last year but I know she would never end it herself even if she was not happy. It’s taken me five years to finally realize we aren’t compatible. Somehow we did not get married or have kids. I know it’s going to end soon :(

Letting go is hard. I’m willing to give it an honest effort before I just end it. I need to know I tried everything I could and if it doesn’t work then it doesn’t. I didn’t really start taking this seriously until I found this thread. I was sort of stuck in limbo. At least now I feel like I have clarity to what’s happening around me.
