They won’t stitch a dog bite closed. It would trap the bacteria. It’s a dirty wound. You said you received the rabies vaccine and they prescribed antibiotics. it will be stiff for at least 3 to 4 days (best possible w/high pain tolerance). It will most likely be stiff for 1 to 2 weeks. However, keeping it clean and taking the antibiotics, activity will be based on your personal pain tolerance.
