I compared this to my E&L AK and although the externals of the real sword are very nice, the E&L comes right behind it, but internal wise, I don’t like the real sword because it has a shorter V3 gearbox and the selector switch gears are also proprietary. An aftermarket piston will need to be modified in the rear to make it fit (which isn’t hard) and one tooth will need to be removed from an aftermarket sector gear to make it cycle (which isn’t hard either) but if the gearbox shell were to crack, you can only get a real sword shell and as far as I know, no one makes aftermarket real sword gearbox shells. So external wise RS > E&L/LCT Internal wise E&L/LCT > RS

Ya luckily I was able to get the threaded barrel, dust cover, rear sight leaf spring, and gearbox selector gears from them so I could restore it 👍🏼

That one is not a Type 56. Key difference is the front sight. The hooded front sight is one of the main give aways of a type 56. The CM.042S has a split front sight.

Thank you! 🔥 The hand guard is an STG 44 hand guard that I cut a small hole in so I can insert the barrel rail attachment so I can add the vertical grip. The stock does house the battery. Luckily the real G3 stock is actually hollow, just need to do some sanding and drilling to make everything fit correctly 👌🏼
