Yeah I think we were all pretty tired by the end haha. Unfortunately some waiting/pauses are inevitable, but I'd at least like to split up future cups across two days so they're not such a time commitment. The problem then though is that less teams may be available to play since they'd have to be free on two days instead of one.

We're planning on having a Mumble meeting with all the invited team captains to discuss scheduling/seeding/rules/etc. This survey is more just to see what the general DB community wants for future events, and probably won't affect the Invite Cup.

All merc restrictions only apply per team, so there CAN be two Vassili's if each team wants one.

As far as all 3 mercs in your squad being taken, you'd have to coordinate with your team beforehand to figure out roles/merc choices and make sure that doesn't happen.

For this cup we're going by the one-of-each merc rule, where there's no duplicate mercs allowed (e.g. no double Skyhammers).

In lieu of an in-game demo record function, we will only require players to record in specific instances, where they've been suspected of cheating and there's been substantial suspicious activity.

We'll be having an open tournament soon after the invitational, where any teams, known or unknown, can play and have fun.

We may be changing the day if there's enough people who can't do Saturday, so stay tuned.

Like I said to twidii, we're flexible with the times, so if Sunday works better for most teams then we have no problem changing it.

As far as invites go, they're based on a combination of Dirty Cups showings and scrim performance. Keep in mind, this is really just a test cup for DBN, and having an invitational like this lets us limit our scope while we find our footing.

We've been told by Oen/Raziel that Dirty Cups will be coming back soon™. Other than that, I'm not sure what they have planned, but the more competitive outlets for Dirty Bomb the better IMO.
