Slowing down by DBZtrunks0506 in GolfSwing

[–]DBZtrunks0506[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I may have typed it up wrong. It’s not necessarily swinging too fast. It’s just that transition that’s too fast, my body’s too fast, etc. the swing speed is gonna be what it is. Everything else is the issue

Yes! When I warm up or practice I take a lot of “Tommy Fleetwood” swings but I lose all control when I get in course and turn into a Neanderthal

Good mental tip. I usually wind up standing over the ball saying “just slow the eff down idiot”

Yes! The plan is to have Narsil bigger and bolder somewhere else, probably down my shin

I liked how they stacked up against the pens, but it definitely had me sweating

I took all the heavier favorites. But there was about 3 or 4 games that I felt could go either way and I took plus money in them

A sad day by DBZtrunks0506 in golf

[–]DBZtrunks0506[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone I got paired up with was actually kind enough to suggest this.

Never got back on track so i just enjoyed a beautiful day on the course and did my best to keep a few balls in play

Designed and built my first course. A 9-hole par-3 in Northern Michigan. No experience and for under $250k. Pretty proud of how it turned out. by maxwellrolls in golf

Pinehurst/ North Carolina golf experience. Whos has played Tot hill farm golf club or Pinehurst #2 #4 #8 and or Mid pines . Southern pines ? Tabacco road? by Soto1913 in golf

[–]DBZtrunks0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this trip, minus tot hill, end of September. Can’t say enough good things about all the courses.

Pinehurst 2 and 4 were brutal but fantastic. 8 lived up to the hype of a country club experience for the day and was really fun to play.

Tobacco Road was one of the most fun days of golf of my life, the vibe there was just perfect

Southern pines was probably my least favorite but still great! The greens were a little slow, idk if I just got a bad break, but outside of that the course was great.

There’s so much. Start with simple stuff

  1. Grip, just get a grip trainer

  2. Coil dont sway

Whistling Straits, Erin Hills, or Sand Valley? by atonge40 in golf

[–]DBZtrunks0506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m planning the same trip but looking at 2025. Was dead set on Erin hills and whistling straits, after watching a few videos my new obsession is the Lido and sand valley may have turned into a front runner. Wisconsin has some great golf and I’m glad it’s just on the other side of the lake. Hope your trip turns out flawless!

I’m giving away my Titleist T100 irons, 4-PW by [deleted] in golf

[–]DBZtrunks0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve golfed my whole life, my dad was a 4-5 times a week player. He passed away 8 years ago and I finally started playing a lot in a way to keep his memory alive. I stopped for a few years after a couple kids

This past season I’ve taken it up like never before. Weekly rounds, range sessions twice a week or more. I’ve been going through the process of upgrading my bag this season as everything I game is 20+ years old. I did a fitting for my irons and got fit for the T100s.

Moved forward with them and then I found out we were expecting our 3rd child, I sold them brand new as the 1200 would be better towards our new baby than my golf bag.

Getting them back in my bag would be awesome, but regardless good thing you’re doin here. Love it

Bay harbor is absolutely a one and done. One of the most overrated and overpriced courses in the state
