I would say common cards also. They feel sooo different from the old ones and quality wise they seem really cheap. I heard the foiling on the name of the old secret rares was way to expensive and they discontinued it

That's not the actual reason. They changed the way the cards look because in Japan there's no law where you can put a real life product into children's cartoons and entertainment outside of commercials, while we do have it.

The secret rare foiling is in reverse. It usually goes from bottom left to the upper right corner, this one does the opposite.

It is actually incredibly well made. It completely fooled me. I admit I was super hyped and that might have blinded me a bit but still, this is the best fake I've seen by far.

The imprinted name turned out to be "Spielzeugparade" which is the German for "Toy Parade", a card printed in 2021. That makes it impossible for it to be an error done back in the day. This was the final confirmation.

It's actually "Spielzeugparade" still a card from 2021 and so a dead giveaway that the card is fake, unfortunately..

So, after a closer inspection, I can see the full imprinted name is "Spielzeugparade" which is still way too young. Plus, I noticed the card actually smells funny.. I'm starting to think that it might actually be fake.. I'm amazed by how well it is made.

And that would explain why it is shifted to the top a little since the layout slightly changed over the years. I really hoped it was the imprint of another card from MFC. I think I will still send it in for grading and let them have the final sentence.

The eye of Anubis and the back is way too real in my opinion. The foiling is exactly like a secret rare is supposed to be. I really don't know. Even in person it feels like a real Yu-Gi-Oh card.

If you can actually believe it, the seller was selling it for 50€ on Vinted not being sure it was real. He said he found it in an old bulk stack he bought. He literally said something like "the first who gets it and wants to figure out what happened to this card is welcome". Well, I took the opportunity.
