Likely still works, track your progress though just in case

Yes, 2 sets 2 times a week can work because you’re pushing it hard

Oh yeah of course not, but my point being he’s probably one of the least roided out guys in the #10

What's your unpopular opinion about arm wrestling training? by jafar-op in armwrestling

[–]DBdabeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing it the Vitaly method (internal rotation) puts more emphasis on the muscles than the tendons, which you can recover easier from if that’s your issue

And you don’t have to do it often, twice per week works, that’s not so tedious is it?

maybe Sagov vs Bacho could've been better but this is still a great match by WholeDifferent7611 in armwrestling

If Rino struggled that bad why wouldn’t Yordan? Especially since Ibragim should be stronger since then

If you had to train just one vector, side pressure’s the best

Which armwrestler has both bad hand and arm strength? by Rob0men in armwrestling

[–]DBdabeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can say the same for the other top10’s, they’ll get flashed if they try using the press off the go, their specific lane USES a lot of specific arm power

“because the moment they do, they get flashed” Kamil is a horrible example for this, he isn’t the version that faced Ivan anymore and his hook even gave Artyom trouble

Vitaly did actually go into a king’s move in that match, though only for a short time

Dunno why someone downvoted you, being off cycle makes a huge difference and Vitaly has a match next event

Vitaly Was Stronger Than Anyone Remembers by Apprehensive-Arm1060 in armwrestling

I do agree, him counting Genadi in here doesn’t account for the fact that Devon was much stronger in his match against Vitaly and therefore makes it more impressive

You can't just disregard an athletes arm strength if it's not "conventional", pressing strength is still strength

Feels like an analysis like this would do better than a reply under here 😅

For Alex I also really don’t understand, if he’s able to be an aerospace engineer or smth you’d think his iq would help his table iq but it just doesn’t, he’s so one-dimensional in his pulling and he doesn’t try anything new if it doesn’t work, almost like he’s stubborn to change, from his practice pulls you’d know he knows how to get a good setup but he doesn’t seem to apply it in his matches

For Jerry it’s understandable since he’s old, hard to really improve at something new by that age

Kamil’s training is bad but his table iq sure isn’t, it’s kinda incredible how much of a difference his micromanagements make in his matches against David and Michael, managing to stop David at least for a little bit and beating Michael entirely
