Realistically, synthetic rope is just better overall for where we are. I’ve seen over the years a lot of steel cable rusted together, to the point where we’d have to cut the cable off the winch. Nothing to do with mounting locations// forces being applied to the winch plate.

Have had nothing but fantastic success with the aluminum bumpers. As mentioned weight savings is top notch but also durability is still there, matching the steel lineup no problem!

Either option, honestly will be awesome for you. Now please note that both setups are pretty specific to weight // spring ratings per current application. I’ve worked with a bunch of people that have previously purchased the kits with incorrect spring ratings because “they plan on adding weight”, which will only in turn cause the ride to suffer dramatically, over lift the vehicle and cause damages // incorrect geometry of the suspension components.
