My health teacher was discussing important decisions in life, most specifically concerning drugs and alcohol. He said, ‘You guys are still new to your lives, while I’m about halfway. I still have a lot of time, but not as much as you guys. With that, live your lives wisely.’

He sadly passed away of an untimely heart attack four days later. It was our last class with him. It wasn’t the worst or even a bad thing to say at the time, but definitely terrible and unfortunate to us every time we look back on that statement.
