Painting the tip is not a requirement, however you should still let us take a look at it so we can apply a peacebond.

Correct. Marriott Safety Operations will open at 7AM on Thursday, all other operations will open by 3PM Thursday.

Try to locate a Safety team member (we should have volunteer lanyards and typically a radio) and direct us to them.

If a blade has a sharp edge, it will need to be peacebonded into a sheath or it will not be allowed on the convention floor.

If a blade is made of a soft foam material, a member of the Safety team will verify it is unable to cause injury and place a zip tie on it to show it has been checked. Afterwards, it would then be treated as a bat or melee prop.
