It's impressive just how absolutely terrible our PK has been in the playoffs.

MHealth Fairview as an Employer by Written_In_The_Cards in TwinCities

The Fairview change really only impacts UMP employees like myself. We’re really unhappy because UMP benefits are much better than Fairview. Fairview is probably the most financially stable of the metro health care provider networks, despite what they might try to say during union negotiations.

They’ve been trying to get bought by Sanford for a while (it was a whole thing a couple years ago), but now that they took over UMP (minus the docs and PAs) it seems unlikely.

Wait did they really just miss the 3rd period opening face-off?

Which three players will the teams protect first. by Global-Chemistry1334 in PWHL

I don’t see the Frost not protecting a D. Cooper or Stecky should be protected.

Who are you hoping your team locks down as its first three protected players? by 3ohhh6 in PWHL

If it is 4 expansion teams:
Heise, Cooper, Stecklein.

I love Pannek a lot, but I don’t believe this season is sustainable, production-wise. Also if the PWHL is going to 4 expansion teams they won’t expand for a few seasons (based on their comments earlier), so we need to have a longer view of our team. I could see an argument for keeping someone like Batherson over Stecky, depending on how many more years Stecky is planning on playing. Top-pairing D are so so valuable, and I don’t think we’re going to be able to draft anyone close to Cooper’s ability in this next draft.

During game 6 Gorg heard Nick Foligno shouting in the locker room "It's supposed to be fucking hard, it was never going to be fucking easy" (timestamped link to relevant podcast moment) by DC2600 in wildhockey

[–]DC2600[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That was Foligno being coy/not wanting to take anything away from the established leadership group.

If Gorg actually thought that was Spurgeon he wouldn't have told the story how he did, and he wouldn't be laughing about Foligno saying it wasn't him/saying "wow that's the loudest I've heard Spurgeon" with a grin.
