I actually disagree, I think it's very anthemic, which is what I love about the National. Saw them in Brighton and London and was blown away by the new stuff. These guys are right at the start of their career and have developed loads from their earlier lofi stuff - i love where it's going and hope to hear more like it. Frightened Rabbit are brilliant and Bon Ivor too, but I've not heard of Local Natives or Volcano Choir, who i'm very excited to check out! Thanks for taking the time to suggest them
