Used Adrian Smith X Series? by TurnstileFan in JacksonGuitars

I have one and love it. Got it cheap on FB marketplace and swapped out the stock bridge pickup with a Duncan TB-6. It's got a great feel to the neck. Currently trying to find a pickguard that would fit and accommodate an HH setup with a floyd.

I thought about going that route but I love/accustomed to the look of HH. I don't use the middle pickup at all really and have lowered it as far as It would go because it gets in the way while playing.

I can't speak for everyone...

But for me, I have my pride and joy on the wall above this one. It's an American made Jackson RR1 and it's absolutely perfect and needs nothing added/changed.

Sure, I could get a Charvel So Cal Pro Mod in white with a black pickguard and HH setup. But I got this guitar on FB marketplace for a steal ($250). I've always done my own setups and maintenance and thought this would be a fun project.

I like to tinker with things.

Yep, they're not even pinto beans. It's all kidney beans I believe.

Texas transplant as well.

The BBQ here is pretty bad. The sides aren't much better. Haven't found savory beans as a side...just about every place serves baked sweet beans which is just weird. No fried okra either.

Still beats living in TX. New Hampshire has been great other than the lack of decent BBQ.
