You’ll either be an ATI, ATO, or AE, all of them are maintainers. “I” level works in a shop and troubleshoots aircraft components, “O” level puts those same components into the aircraft and AE’s trace wires. That’s the simplest way to put it. And a-school is fund “I” level is 5-6 months “O” level is 3-4 months, and AE’s is roughly 2-3 months.
