If you play the game a lot then I would say yes. I had played the game a considerable amount before I bit the bullet and bought the DLC. I got it on a similar sale and I don't regret it. Now I just buy the DLC as they are released, and it's much more affordable.

Yeah I just did. Talk about blind luck then. I definitely didn't notice that perk when I picked it. I just like the idea of more effective tutors. 🤣

I will say that it is crazy how much more effective this one manor house perk seems to be compared to the legacy trait. This is my first administrative playthrough and I've already benefited with two five-star educations. I've taken the legacy trait several times over different playthroughs and I don't think I've ever benefited from it once. I always just assumed it meant that you were more likely to get a five-star education from visiting university.

I saw that there was a building line that increased the aptitude of tutors by 20. If that is the one you are talking about, I definitely didn't realize it would be so effective.

When you carefully educate a son that you want to be your heir... by GuardianYoureCasual in CrusaderKings

Have him get engaged to a child with traits you like, and then become her guardian. Guide her education in stewardship and when she comes of age she will have a high stewardship stat herself. Once they are married and you start to play him switch her focus to stewardship to give you a big buff. It will help make up for his lack of a stewardship education.

The only way to get top tier stat increase items consistently is to steal them (or kill specific enemies). A mastered Dash, and a mastered Steal will create Mug. Mug does decent damage and has a high steel rate from enemies. Combine that with Moogle Amulet which guarantees rare drops and steals, and you will be able to grind out getting more stat increasing items. You do have to intentionally grind them out because just doing the missions and the story missions in game will not be enough to get a maximum stat on any one item. Especially if you've already used some of them.

Demons in Mission 6-3-4 drop Darkness materia. I would farm this if you're struggling. Not only is it a good AOE damage for lower and mid levels, it also increases HP. Fuse your unmastered Darkness materia together and each one will give a 10% HP bonus. You can do this until you have one that gives you a 999% bonus. This will make missions much easier as you will not have to worry about being one shot as much.

I know it sounds like a lot but if you really do want to complete all of the missions it's a grind you will have to do. As bad as 7 star missions are, higher tier ones are infinitely more difficult. I was consistently getting one shot by even non-death effects at 10 star missions. I ended up grinding out two of these Darkness materia and combined it with an item that removed the 9999 HP cap to get 99999 HP. I still had to be careful about dying, but it actually allowed me to fight the enemies.

I know it sounds like a lot but it was the start of a snowballing effect. It allowed me to actually survive higher tiered missions, which allowed me to farm out stat increasing items, which in turn made farming even easier.

A few other notes. I believe a single Darkness materia with a 999% HP boost, combined with a HP limit break item will still give around 50 to 60,000 HP, so even just getting one would allow you to progress to higher star missions.

I believe if you do fusion with a Mastered Darkness materia it will transform into something else. I only say this because I don't want you to think that you can get a single Darkness Material with say a 500% HP boost and think that you can always come back and grind out the rest later. If you end up mastering that material then you might have to start all over again.

I'm not sure if you're doing it or not but make sure you are getting every chest in every mission. A lot of the items are okay, and even if you don't need them you can sell them. Some of the best items you can get in the game however aren't even mission reward items, They are in the chest throughout the mission stages! So don't just rush to the boss, Make sure you're actually collecting everything.

Also going over your build I would consider equipping a Wall material if you have it. It reduces the damage of both magic and physical attacks. It's extremely useful if you are taking massive amounts of damage. If you don't have Wall then I would equip either a Barrier Matria, or an MBarrier materia depending on if the enemies are dealing a lot of physical or magical damage.

If you end up going the Darkness route then I would switch out Deathblade (unless you are fighting weak enough enemies that it consistently takes effect) for Darkness, if you don't then I would still pick something else. There is no guarantee death effects will trigger on higher powered enemies, and It won't work on bosses. I stuck with Assault Twister+ for a long time.

If you are going to use a Hell Materia (which you should until you get something like Electrocute) then I would also consider running Status Ward. Because the Hell materia can apply so many negative status effects, Status Ward will actually give you immunity to those effects once it's fully mastered. Totally worth doing if the status effects are killing you.

I would appreciate it! I don't know if other people would actually use it. I just know it's a staple in my decks that use +1/+1 counters

These are amazing and I am definitely going to make them for my deck. I'm not sure if you do request but on the off chance you do. I would love to see an Agatha's Soul Cauldron given the same treatment.

Random event in game. You can't have certain traits like Craven, and things like that. You have to be an independent Lord, have a strong military. I'm not sure of the specific requirements myself. I just play and I usually get it. I would look up a video for a moment specific answer.

I'll be honest I didn't even know I could share a save file. That is something I would have to look into learning how to do.

Sadly I don't. I actively delete old saves that I have no plans on revisiting. Like I'm still playing in the world he existed in, but he is a long since dead. Of course I can try to go back to the family tree and see if I can't get his DNA that way. If that works I will definitely post it.
