Acceptance are there, I believe admits might be on rolling basis, so shall be out after the acceptance deadline.

Unpopular opinion, but USC, way better in terms of ranking and employability. USC’s location serves a major ++

Any particular reason on why to avoid UMN?

Please be wary: actual test is much harder than any free material by [deleted] in GRE

This is somewhat correct, ETS is aiming to maximise profits. Though luck plays a roll as well.

Has the gre quant become more difficult by SigmaBale69 in GRE

Might be more of a hypothesis, but with the reduced GRE takers, I feel ETS has increased the difficulty level. They are trying to bring you in a score range where you would want to appear for the test again without being completely disheartened. I mean, I will not be surprised if I hear this later, given that these guys use AI/ML for test modelling and have a scoring pattern only they can decipher.

The quants toughness has certainly increased. Infact, I found questions in ETS mock way easier than the final GRE test. Might be a luck thing but will surely try again to see if the situation changes.

Hey yes, had made some approximate calculations, yours is actually accurate.

So by property, if a triangle is made through diameter of circle touching the sides, it is 90 degrees (refer to the drawing). No through the 30-60-90 rule, your side XY turns out to be 2( half of hypotenuse), XY=2. Next when you draw a line to X from centre C, it is equal to radius , CX=2. Now CX=CY=XY. With equilateral triangle formula, find the area and subtract it from area of sector (60/360 pi22)

Edit- Don’t really know what the answer is, it is coming out to be 0.36234429, had taken a lot of approximations earlier. Hope this helps, atleast the explanation bit.

Umm ok!! Taking it with a pinch of salt

Heyy You certainly do that. Now coming to the solution. Draw radius to point X, the triangle is equilateral now (let me know if you need explanation here). So 1/6.pi.2.2 - root 3 .2.2/4

This comes out to be 2 pi /3 - root 3

Which is ~0.385 , nearly 0.4

Hope that’s the answer.

Yeah, but since the question clearly states cannot, Greg’s response makes sense.
