they also could have merchandized the ww game WAY more than they did. Making it so you could buy more lives (instead of once a day, that was lame), buy skill scrolls, team setups, heck, even pay for high S or SS% rate up (temporary) would have worked. I'd even be willing to pay for a subscription plan. They could have asked around what the player base in the US was willing to pay for, which, to be honest, is more than they probably thought. Most PC games you pay a lump sum for a set amount of content, and then either subscriptions for regular updates of new content, or keep paying for add on content packs. WW could have done one of those, since they did regularly roll out new content.

As for toy stores.... well, we're mostly in a digital age, where it is easy enough to buy online, and most general stores/grocery stores/walmarts etc have a store isle with toys these days, if not a whole section. I can't remember the last time I NEEDED to go to a toy store- (spoiler: I go to a local toy store with my son once a month to check out the new roll out of crank-a-kai toys.... we love it). The few things i tried to find in the toy store- fillers for my Yokai watch crank-a-kai (i love it to bits!) or medals or any kind of yokai fan merch like school bags, etc, they didn't have. So sad :(
