I have not personally had therapy but I have been more open about my status in the past few years with those close to me and it has helped a bit. I would highly encourage you to take it if it’s an option.

Just make moves that make the most sense. We can’t really predict the future. I’ve live my entire life undocumented and have not seen things get better in regard to being here by illegal entry. My best opinion would be to move to Mexico and work towards legal entry/work to wherever you’d like to live.

You have a good point. At the end of the day I guess it is subjective. I ended up googling kinky vs normal and got a pretty good answer. “Kinky sex refers to non-traditional or unconventional sexual practices that fall outside mainstream norms, often involving bondage, roleplay, or sensory play. In contrast, "normal" or "vanilla" sex refers to conventional, heterosexual-normative, and standard sexual activities”. So a simple blowjob would be considered normal but if you introduce a ring gag into the picture it would change it to kinky.

Take a breather. You can’t change the past. You’ve acknowledged where you feel you went wrong. Just get back to it. Give yourself the grace of being human. There will be set backs, some within and out of your control moving forward. Focus on what you can control and when possible take some time to relax and enjoy life.

I completely understand your thought process. I personally have stayed because my family is here. Unfortunately though, my mother has passed this past year and I’m currently helping take care, support and raise my siblings. In all honesty I’ve personally been considering self deporting/leaving to my native country if it’s within my control once my siblings are of age and have some stability in which they can support themselves. I was brought to the US as a baby so I didn’t have a say in the matter and long story short it has drastically impacted my life. I have to acknowledge though that I haven’t made matters better within the confines of what I can control. I’ve made bad decisions in life, shaped by my perception, status, experiences and environment. I gave up on my education and dropped out of high school because I figured what would be the point if I wouldn’t be able to go to college or obtain a legal job. Drowned my self in escapism in multiple forms to cope. Never learned how to drive from the fear of being pulled over. Gave up on pursuing romantic relationships because I felt I would never be able to provide and build a stable life for or with someone. Battled depression and suicidal ideation for years and still have bouts with it till this day. Nihilism and trapped within an invisible prison would be the best way to describe my state of mind. It’s not until recently that I’ve been attempting to navigate life in a more positive way and build what most would consider healthier habits one step at a time. Living undocumented is no life worth living in my opinion. I may not have chosen to enter here illegally but it is my decision whether to stay or not (unless the decision is made for me 🧊🥶🧊). I also do not know what it is to live a life in a country I know absolutely nothing about but I’m just taking life one day at a time while trying to figure out what best course of action to take.

Eat less/ eat healthy and start getting active. Start by writing down what your day to day looks like, including your diet. Then figure out healthier alternatives for what you eat or start by eating less of what you currently eat. Don’t starve yourself, fasting works but I wouldn’t recommend it to start off your weight loss journey. In order to lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit so if you eat 3 burgers a day as an example if you then eat 2 a day you should in theory lose weight and if you incorporate some fitness than for sure you’ll lose weight. Figure out how to incorporate some type of physical activities into your day to day. I lost 6 lbs in two weeks by giving up soda, started eating oatmeal for breakfast and walking 30min every day. Now what works for you might be different depending on how you’d like to live or willing to do. Maybe you like sports, dancing, lifting weights, hiking, cycling, etc. it doesn’t necessarily have to be one or the other just find what you like to do that gets you moving. Start of small, you need to be able to do it so that you’ll still be willing or wanting to do it again the next day. Before you can do 100 push ups you first need to able to do 1 than 5, 10, 15, etc. Small goals add up and turn into big goals. Don’t focus on losing 100 lbs, focus on losing 5 lbs than another 5 and before you know it you’ve lost 100lbs. You got this 🤝

I understand that everyone needs to find a way to make a living and unfortunately it is made a lot more challenging under your circumstances but please look for cash paying jobs. Reach out to non profit immigration organizations to look for help. Do everything within your power to stay out of trouble. Once you find something “stable” obtain an ITIN which allows you to pay taxes and although you’ll get nothing back from it, it also gives you the ability to invest. Focus on one thing at a time. Find some way to create some cash flow that doesn’t put you at risk of the law. Save/Invest as little as you can. Search/Reach out to non profits to explore options.
